It was so much fun seeing all of the kids and parents at Family Fun Night on Saturday.  What a great turn out!

Just a reminder that we will be having noon dismissal on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday due to conferences.  If you don't have your conference time, please let me know and I will send it to you!

In Math, we will be finishing division and moving on to decimals.  In science, the students are working on writing programs for robots so they will be autonomous.

Have a great week!

First of all, I would like to thank all of you for the generous donations to our class basket!  It is so appreciated!  All of the baskets are on display at the front of the school for auction.  The final night for the auction is this Saturday at the Family Fun Night!  I will be doing a little bit of bingo in my classroom so come visit!

Also, this Thursday is our first lesson for Hooked on Fishing.  Once a month, the students will have lessons about different aspects of water ecology and habitats!

Reminder that next week we have parent/teacher conferences.  I can't wait to meet with all of you!

    About Me.

This will be my 6th year as a teacher, and my second year in the Billings School District.

I grew up in Clancy, MT with my parents and my younger brother.  I went to The University of Montana and received my B.A. in Elementary Education.  After graduating, I spent a year in Seoul, South Korea teaching English.  Next, I moved to Chester, MT and spent two years teaching 5th and 6th grade Math and Science and one year teaching 4th grade.  I just finished my Masters in Middle School Math.

When I'm not teaching, I love to spend time outdoors.  I love hiking, running, playing tennis, or camping.  One of my favorite places to camp at is Yellowstone National Park.  I try to travel there a few times a year.
