I hope everyone enjoys their long weekend!
During the week of October 22-25 we will continue to work on our multiplication with the standard algorithm. In ELA, we will be reading about the constitution and discussing different amendments. The students will be having their first test in Science this week as well. We will have a review and then they will know what to study at home. 5th grade also will have their next Hooked on Fishing lesson on Thursday October 25th! Remember that Friday the 26th is the Family Fun Night from 5-7! I look forward to seeing you there!

Welcome to October! Our 5th grade class has an exciting week.
Please ask them about their Kindergarten buddies. We met for the first time today, and it was so much fun! On Thursday, the students will enjoy a presentation from the zoo about various animals and their habitats. To end our exciting week, we will have the Fund Run on Friday from 2:20 - 3:00. You will be able to pick up your child after the run in my classroom, otherwise students will be dismissed as usual. Also, just a reminder that I am collecting donations for our Family Fun Night Basket, which has the theme of "Family Dinner Night." Please send any items you are able to donate to my classroom by October 17th. |
