I hope everyone enjoys their long weekend!

During the week of October 22-25 we will continue to work on our multiplication with the standard algorithm.

In ELA, we will be reading about the constitution and discussing different amendments.

The students will be having their first test in Science this week as well.  We will have a review and then they will know what to study at home.

5th grade also will have their next Hooked on Fishing lesson on Thursday October 25th!

Remember that Friday the 26th is the Family Fun Night from 5-7!  I look forward to seeing you there!

    About Me.

This will be my 6th year as a teacher, and my second year in the Billings School District.

I grew up in Clancy, MT with my parents and my younger brother.  I went to The University of Montana and received my B.A. in Elementary Education.  After graduating, I spent a year in Seoul, South Korea teaching English.  Next, I moved to Chester, MT and spent two years teaching 5th and 6th grade Math and Science and one year teaching 4th grade.  I just finished my Masters in Middle School Math.

When I'm not teaching, I love to spend time outdoors.  I love hiking, running, playing tennis, or camping.  One of my favorite places to camp at is Yellowstone National Park.  I try to travel there a few times a year.
