Science Questions for Ms. Martin's class

What is your definition of “autonomous”?
What new information about robots did you find to be most surprising or interesting?
What did the autonomous robots have in common? What is unique about the robot you researched?
If you were a roboticist, what type of autonomous robot would you want to design? What would it be able to do? Draw a sketch of your robotic idea.

Please make sure to write complete sentences for the answer. For example #1 would start out as: "My definition of autonomous is..."

About Me.

This will be my 6th year as a teacher, and my second year in the Billings School District.

I grew up in Clancy, MT with my parents and my younger brother. I went to The University of Montana and received my B.A. in Elementary Education. After graduating, I spent a year in Seoul, South Korea teaching English. Next, I moved to Chester, MT and spent two years teaching 5th and 6th grade Math and Science and one year teaching 4th grade. I just finished my Masters in Middle School Math.

When I'm not teaching, I love to spend time outdoors. I love hiking, running, playing tennis, or camping. One of my favorite places to camp at is Yellowstone National Park. I try to travel there a few times a year.
