Here are a few important events that are coming up in the 5th grade.

1/9 - Geo Bee 8:30 - 9:30
1/12 - Math projects due and SRI testing
1/16 & 1/18 - NWEA Testing (Reading and Math)
1/23 - YAM presentation 10:30

We will have some time to work on the math projects this week, but most of it should be completed at home!

About Me.

This will be my 6th year as a teacher, and my second year in the Billings School District.

I grew up in Clancy, MT with my parents and my younger brother. I went to The University of Montana and received my B.A. in Elementary Education. After graduating, I spent a year in Seoul, South Korea teaching English. Next, I moved to Chester, MT and spent two years teaching 5th and 6th grade Math and Science and one year teaching 4th grade. I just finished my Masters in Middle School Math.

When I'm not teaching, I love to spend time outdoors. I love hiking, running, playing tennis, or camping. One of my favorite places to camp at is Yellowstone National Park. I try to travel there a few times a year.
