Just a reminder that our class will be doing the NWEA Reading and Math tests on January 16th and January 18th. Also, book orders went home last Tuesday. Those are due January 26th. You may also follow the link under "Favorite Sites" to order online!
The students will be presenting their math projects throughout this week as well. Along with that, we will continue to explore decimal division and practice different ways to solve decimal division problems. In my science class, students are working with the design process to create and test their own experiments. Then they will be exploring the different systems in our body that protect us against germs. In Ms. Martin's science class, they will start building their robot chassis! This is usually a very exciting lesson in science. In ELA we will be explaining the relationships between two processes in science. Specifically, we will be looking at how a snowflake forms, and the rock cycle. I am excited for another week of learning! Please let me know if you have any questions.
